Webmaster
Generally speaking, the webmaster is the person who creates a website and is responsible for its content and technology. As a rule, however, these can be different persons.
The tasks
In the planning and implementation of web projects, the webmaster is the project manager who is to combine the resources of web business, web design, web programming and web server administration. The scope of duties ranges from simple markup languages (HTML) to complex programming languages. Today, more and more content management and editing systems are used to implement the webmaster's tasks in a user-friendly way.
Web technologies and specialization
The increasing complexity of web technologies leads to a specialization of the requirements for the webmaster. He is often the communication center of web business experts (conceptual design, marketing and e-commerce specialists), graphic, web and interface designers,
programmers/software developers and network administrators.
