Host
Internet company that provides server space, web services, website maintenance and Internet connectivity.
Server typs
Historically, the host is a network computer that provides services to clients. In general, the term has become established for data centers that provide various types of server capacity. There are different types of server types: Authentication server, chat server, file server, database server, digital media server, DHCP server, game server, mail server, map server, name server, news server, proxy server, streaming server, terminal server, web server and time server.
The Host
These types of servers can be rented from the host in various ways: The dedicated server is rented from the host including space, air conditioning and power supply and is managed by the customer. In the case of the Managed Host, the operating system and software (server) are monitored and updated by the provider. Web hosting refers to a server on which several websites are hosted that share the resources. A management is strongly limited here. However, there are other diverse mixed types here.
