Policies for the authorised use of CommDoo GmbH services

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all actions in connection with the use of the CommDoo services comply with the applicable laws, regardless of the purpose of use. The terms and conditions of these Terms of Use are binding and any breach shall be deemed a breach of the CommDoo User Agreement.

Unauthorised activities

The following activities are unauthorised use:
  • Violate laws, statutes, ordinances or regulations.
  • Trafficking in stolen goods, including digital and virtual goods or the financial exploitation of a crime.
  • The promotion of discrimination, hatred, violence, racial hatred or other forms of intolerance against people or ethnic groups.
  • Transactions involving intoxicants, narcotics, steroids, other drugs and products that can lead to addiction or intoxication. Furthermore, no transactions with drug paraphernalia or means of drug production may be carried out.
  • Transactions involving goods that infringe trade mark rights, copyright, property rights or the right of publicity or privacy under the laws of a country.
  • Firearms and their ammunition or accessories for firearms or legally regulated weapons or knives that are prohibited under the applicable law of a country.
  • Pyramid schemes, matrix programmes, multi-level marketing programmes or other get-rich-quick schemes, lottery contracts, off-shore banking or transactions to finance or refinance debt.
  • Transactions for debt settlement services, credit transactions or insurance activities or the offering or receiving of payments for the purpose of bribery, money laundering or corruption.
  • Sale of products or services that are categorised as fraudulent by the respective countries.
  • Transactions for which pre-authorisation from CommDoo GmbH is required.

Activities requiring authorisation

CommDoo GmbH must issue a pre-authorisation to accept payments for the following services.

Charities / Non-Profit Collecting donations for charitable or non-profit organisations.
   
Investments Purchase, sale or brokerage of shares, bonds, securities, options, commodities, foreign exchange, investment funds or an interest in participation in a company or property.
   
Competitions and games of chance with money at stake Gambling with money stakes and/or other activities with a fee such as casino games, sweepstakes, sports betting, lottery tickets or similar applications if the operators are based in countries where such activities are permitted by law.
   
Cryptocurrencies Means of payment that can be digitally traded, transferred or used as a means of payment, including cryptocurrencies, gaming currencies, credits or other virtual currencies.
   
Medical devices Transactions involving the sale of prescription-only products and/or the provision of medical services, consultations or treatments provided by a person or organisation.
   
Contents for adults Video-on-demand (VOD) and web cam activities, payments for DVDs, magazines and other products as well as dating platforms.
   
Marketplaces E-commerce solutions for the sale of products or services from third-party providers.
   
File sharing services Remote file sharing services that pay uploaders for content that is accessible to the public.
   
Alcoholic beverages Sale and trade of alcoholic beverages.
   
Multilevel marketing and direct sales organisations Direct sales and multi-level marketing organisations that aim to sell products or services in order to earn commissions on the recruitment of new distributors.

Violations of the CommDoo GmbH Acceptable Use Policy

Violations of the Acceptable Use Policies must be reported to CommDoo GmbH immediately. If a transaction violates the terms of use or you wish to make a report, you can do so here.
