MasterCard
A credit card organization that licenses the issuance and acceptance of various credit and payment cards that enable cashless payment transactions. Debiting from the card account can be done electronically, by paper slip using the embossed card number or by mail order.

Mastercard Incorporated, headquartered in Purchase, New York, is one of the two major international payment card companies. Mastercard offers the following products:

Mastercard as a credit card brand
Mastercard was a key participant in the founding of the EMV specification for credit cards with chips. The first Mastercard was put into circulation by Franklin Bank.
With a presence in more than 210 countries, Mastercard is the third most valuable credit card brand in the world.
