Backend
A backend is a software application or program that runs on the server and supports frontend programs (such as a payment window) that provide data for the user interface.
Payment applications
In web-based payment applications, the front end is accessible to normal users and the general public. This often refers to the area of a website, specifically the payment window. These applications usually run on the servers of the payment provider. The term back-end is only accessible to a limited group of users, e.g. the evaluation of payment transactions.
CommPay by CommDoo
CommDoo offers a backend module for payment transactions - CommPay. Here it is possible to view and evaluate all transactions. In addition, Commpay offers the possibility to manage certain payment transactions.
