In marketing, cross-selling is understood to mean adding products or services to existing customer relationships.
The advantages
The aim of cross-selling is to increase sales for an order. Here, additional products are offered that were not specifically requested by the customer, e.g., peripheral devices such as printers or external hard drives when purchasing a computer. Hereby the conversion can be increased, since the customer is already on the Website and would like to acquire an article. So there are no advertising and acquisition costs.
